Make a song performance-ready and audition-ready

This class will take actors/singers who can already sing to the next level.

  • Bring a song that you are ready to sing to the first class.
  • Bring the sheet music.
  • Bring a recording device so new material can be recorded.
Regina O'Malley will focus on the acting of a song which will lead it to being performance ready. Regina and Steven will help find appropriate material for each individual student. They will help you improve your audition book by finding all the various types of songs you will need to audition. Then they will focus on the individual's connection to the song. This will involve some improvisation and working on your feet ("workshopping"), culminating in an in-class performance. This is a fast paced fun class that explores the joy of performing!
